A letter to the editor in the Newcastle Herald today called out the NSW Liberal Government for doubting claims made by bus operators about failing Opal machines.

Valerie Jones of Newcastle backed the union view that Opal just doesn’t work on some Hunter routes, saying she finds the machines broken as often as she finds them working.
