Transdev EA: protected action ballot gets up

The Transdev EA for the new light rail line in Sydney continues on its long and winding journey.

The latest offer is being put to members for feedback and an application for a protected industrial action ballot was approved by the Fair Work Commission.

This ballot closed yesterday and the result was in favour of industrial action.

We’ll see how the company responds now that there are no barriers to members taking action.

The vast majority of members are standing united during this process, and this needs to continue to secure a good result for everyone.
