STA to the rescue in car park collapse

When the car park at Eastgardens collapsed early in the week shoppers were left stranded at the centre, unable to retrieve their cars.

Despite it being peak hour, with all buses likely deployed for other services, STA stepped up to provide a helping hand and evacuate people from the centre.

With so many additional people requiring transport than is normally the case this extra capacity was crucial.

It is the long experience that STA brings to public bus services in NSW and its investment in resources that mean it can step in at a moments notice to provide assistance when it is needed.
