STA get frustrated

Oct 22, 2013Updates

They can’t take our conditions off us so now they are trying to intimidate us via micro managing.

Delegates in many depots are reporting unfair and unnecessary discipline being inflicted on more drivers than ever.

It’s obvious that STA’s answer to RTBU members who wont give up hard fought conditions, is to ramp up discipline.

One older driver with many years service recently claimed “they are turning into little dictators”.

It seems like managers are picking on anything and everything with extra venom being directed at:

  • sick leave
  • carers leave
  • trivial customer complaints
  • not at fault accidents
  • maintenance book ups
  • lay up times
  • late running
  • refusal to drive defective vehicles/changeovers etc.

In some locations, form E-1’s are being thrown around like confetti.

For any organization to treat their employees in this fashion, can only be described as pathetic and the Union is committed to disputing all unreasonable treatment of members.

It would appear that STA are determined to inflict unnecessary misery on drivers.  By standing together we will prevail.

Ironically STA intend to issue employees instructions aimed at reducing incidents of bullying. What a joke when their management team are easily the biggest bullies in our workplace.

WE WILL NOT BE BULLIED – IN UNITY IS STRENGTH
