Uni students not convinced privatisation would solve transport woes
Frustrated University of NSW students already lumped with abysmal bus services from the Kensington campus have said they were not convinced privatising public transport would improve their commute.
Last week Transport Minister Andrew Constance announced Bus Region 6 servicing the inner west, would be “competitively tendered” out of State Government hands.
The region also includes key bus routes from the inner west — a hotspot of student accommodation — to UNSW.
