Hunter train trips falling
The NSW State Government are defending a drop in patronage on the Hunter train line, saying that with the introduction of the Opal Card the way they collect data has changing and currently the statistics are inaccurate.
This is what the RTBU has been saying about the drop in patronage on the Newcastle bus line yet the State Government has refused to accept this and have used the drop in data to defend cuts to vital bus services.

The first step is the NSW Government admitting the drop in patronage is due to the change in data collection not a drop in actual services.
