Dulwich Hill to Central: 40 minutes by tram
Trams from Dulwich Hill to Central will take about 40 minutes on Sydney’s new light rail extension, due to open on Thursday, 27 March 2014.
The initial service from the Dulwich Hill stop, which is adjacent to the train station, is scheduled to run at 6am, marking the first opening of a new commuter rail line in Sydney since trains started running on the Epping to Chatswood heavy rail line in 2009.
Fairfax transport reporter Jacob Saulwick took a ride and rated Sydney’s newest tram on its extended line to Dulwich Hill in the inner west.
