Don’t Sell Our Buses – Sydney Pitt St Event

On Wednesday the 28th of June, the Sydney Alliance hosted a community assembly at Pitt St Uniting Church for bus drivers, depot workers, local community leaders and supporters.

The evening was an incredible display of support in our campaign against Constance’s privatisation attacks.

The community heard from a wide array of speakers including RTBU Bus Divisional Secretary Chris Preston, NSW Labor Opposition leader Luke Foley, Greens MP Mehreen Faruqi, and members from across the community and different organisations were also given a chance on the microphone to express their support for the Don’t Sell Our Buses campaign. It was a fantastic evening which demonstrated the widespread unity across different areas of the Sydney community as our fight against Constance’s privatisation plans becomes even stronger.
