Chivalrous mystery driver earns passenger praise
Driving buses everyday can sometimes be a thankless job.
But one of our network’s drivers received a personal thank-you from a passenger clearly impressed by the chivalry of the man piloting the Bondi Junction to Edgecliff this week.
The passenger posted the following comment on Facebook:
Another shout out to the awesomeness of the (Route) 200 bus drivers – running a bit late and had to break into a sprint to make the bus.
I said to the driver I thought I was going to miss it.
“No my lady,” he says. “Your chariot awaits.”
Ha ha, isn’t that gold?
We certainly think so!
