Better safety for Granville commuters and workers

The RTBU is calling on all members to get behind a push for better safety at Granville station’s train and bus interchange.

The union is asking all members who live and work nearby to rally for safe staffing standards at the interchange, to improve commuter and employee safety particularly at night.

We’re calling on all transport users in the area as well as anyone concerned about the local community.

Any Tram and Bus Division members keen to attend should join the meeting at 4pm, tomorrow – Thursday April 11 – outside the National Union of Workers office at 4-6 Bridge St, Granville.

Following this attendees will move to the north side of Granville station to seek support from commuters and community members.
