Region 7 Bargaining Update

We met with Busways again today. In the lead-up to this, we’ve been working on discussing our concerns about the proposal in detail with the company. We’re effectively going through the document raising our issues over clauses and outlining where we think there is or isn’t room to move. The company will be responding and then we’ll have a middle ground we can negotiate over.

As before, things are still a bit too sparse and further discussion on the proposal is necessary to ensure that the projected outcome is up to members’ expectations. Once we have the return position of Busways on the items we’ve flagged, we can start putting specifics out to members and discuss these around our conditions and entitlements.
