STA Award Negotiations

Our Log of Claims for the new Award has been lodged with STA.  Now that our current agreement has expired, STA is able to provide a formal response and intensive negotiations over the Log of Claims have begun.

Last time the Division went through this process, it was allowed to drag on for months before an agreement was reached.  This time we are aiming to have this negotiation resolved as quickly as possible, and we’re not going to stand for stalling tactics.

The State Government’s ridiculous IR legislation has thrown a spanner in the works, but this will not dampen our resolve.

We will be focusing on getting a four-year agreement for members with improvements to rostering, leave arrangements and workplace conditions.
