Traffic woes ahead
Traffic on Anzac Parade will be getting worse from April as a temporary six-lane road will be built to allow for a tunnel to be dug for the light rail line between the CBD and eastern suburbs.
Construction of the road near the Sydney Cricket Ground raises the prospect of potential delays for eastern suburbs routes.
Northbound buses will still use the Moore Park busway during morning peaks while southbound buses will run on Anzac Parade.
The temporary diversion will run along the eastern side of Anzac Parade between Lang Road and the Albert “Tibby” Cotter Walkway.
