Hunter Transport Forum – 30 Sept
The NSW Government has a “revitalisation” strategy for the Hunter – and it’s clear that public transport is very low down on their priority list.
After closing the rail line to Newcastle and replacing trains with buses, Hunter residents are dealing with much longer commute times and traffic chaos.
The NSW Greens are hosting a forum for the community to come together and discuss the way forward for public transport in the Hunter region.
RTBU NSW State Secretary Alex Claassens will be speaking and we hope members can come along and participate in the discussion.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is essential. Register here.
