KDH update: tomorrow is WindowLESS Sticker Wednesday!
Tomorrow is WindowLESS Sticker Wednesday! This is where we see how diligent KDH have been about removing the RTBU stickers. No bus WITH a sticker should be taken out of the yard!
Also today marked the start of the Boa Constrictor action, which has seen great success in other businesses. Tomorrow we’ll be running the first trip of each half 2 mins late, then adding another minute each day including the weekend! The idea is a slow buildup to keep everyone focussed on avoiding the worst by getting a deal done ASAP.
If you do find yourself late at any stage finishing your trip then make sure you BOOK UP THE LATE RUNNING!
Apart from that action, we have the uniform ban, BDC ban, and the Geotab swapping all ongoing.
We are expecting a full response from the company to all our claims (even the ones they’ve been sitting on for the last few months). Hopefully this means that we’re going to get some movement when we meet this Thursday.
We’re also having Solidarity Snacks and Drinks at the Honeysuckle Hotel, Lot 31 Wharf C, Honeysuckle Drive tomorrow evening.
We’ll be joined by the RTBU Locomotive division EA committee from Aurizon who are also fighting a pack of grubs for decent pay and conditions!
