Last Friday, we had a situation at Hamilton depot.
For whatever reason, KDH were unable to provide enough fuel to fill all buses.
Because they claimed it was ‘not our fault’, local management decided drivers should simply ignore the protected industrial action of Full Tank Friday.
We then had an acting Duty Officer misrepresenting the protected action in an effort to get drivers on the road.
Other KDH staff were also in the yard pressuring drivers to head out without a full tank, including making personal attacks on the local delegate.
Again, KDH show their true colours.
They do not care about you, only about how much you impact their performance. They do not care about your wages and conditions, only about how they can erode them over the next four years and claw back wages through rostering changes.
They are happy to threaten and coerce with misinformation and outright lies.
And they want you to vote up an agreement that will make everything worse going forward.
